I, ‘Teddington’, am a fully active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Pretoria 2nd Ward, Pretoria South Africa Stake. I am currently serving as the Priesthood Organist and a teacher in the Elders Quorum.
I am majoring in education at the University of Pretoria, specialising in the teaching of English and mathematics.
This blog was created in response to a call by a living Apostle, Elder M. Russell Ballard, to use ‘new media’ in spreading the Gospel throughout the world. Being a South African member (one of about 60 000), I am jubilant to help others know about this Church.
I was converted the Church through the diligent efforts of my grandmother, who joined it herself when I was still in the womb. She tirelessly brought my brother and me to Church every Sunday, until she was called on a mission to serve in the London England Temple. Upon her return, she got us going to Church again and we have since grown.
